Happy Halloween!

This is definitely one of my favorite holidays - you get CHOCOLATE man! As much as you want! WHENEVER you want!! AND IT'S FREE! (well...technically anyway)

In celebration, I decided to change the layout =). Okay, so maybe the timing just happened to be on Halloween. Oh well. It's a good time to announce it and freak everyone out.

With the new layout...
There are now previews of the latest additions to each category on DR (besides meh blog and the info stuff), so you don't have to go looking in every tab just to see what they look like.
The navigation...why blue? BRIGHT blue? Dono. It started out green, and then it morphed.
TY to: MochiMonster, BoBo, and PotSticker for the tips and crits.

Miscellaneous stuff...
Also, someone asked me about MSN once, and yes I do have it.
~~dragonrainster at hotmail~~ changed to boxofmochi at gmail.
Note that this is not an email account I check - I only use it for chat purposes.
I also have aim at boxofmochi.

Clean & Neat

Some of you may have noticed that DR now has clean URLs!

What does this mean?
Easier navigation for you, the user.

Actually, I've wanted to implement them for some time now, but never actually had the time to. I still have a few odds and ends to tie up (ah..the blog -_-), but generally I'm pretty happy with the result.

I'd like to say thank you to all those who have taken the time to report errors they found around the site - in my sleep-deprived mode I seemed to have missed a few links here and there. I appreciate your support!

DR's 1 Year Old!

Just recently, DR's 1st year anniversary passed!
Originally, DR was once a handful of mini-websites until I decided to merge them all together. It was only going to be a simple hobby graphics site, but as time went by, "quality" graphics became the theme.
Hopefully more improvements will be made in the future.

For now, here's the latest news:

Affiliation Open Once A Year

First off, I'd like to thank all the people who have applied for affiliation in the past. However, there are quite a few of you out there, and only one of me. Since I'd like to spend more than a few minutes going through each application, I've decided to dedicate March to be the once-a-year review time for affiliation.
Thus there will be only two other ways of grabbing my attention:
1) If your site is truly amazing (like WOW o.o) and you let me know about it through the contact form or on my blog.
2) If your site is truly amazing (like OMM* o.o) and I apply for affiliation myself ^_^.

*OMM = "OH MY MOCHI!"

Administrative Stuff

So I haven't been sitting idle for this past week - I've been spending a little more time coding and re-coding the back end of DR.
I'll probably be doing that for the rest of the week too (after my midterms, which are also this week), and after that I'll be walling again.

Emails

My host has been having some problems lately, so unfortunately I may not have received all the email sent through the contact form. I have been informed that by this time (or by tomorrow night) these technical problems should be fixed and everything should be running smoothly again. With this in mind, if you've sent some emails lately and have not received a reply, chances are that I never got them. Please feel free to contact me again.
