The Synopsis

Mannen, Shinn, and Hajime protest when Go takes them away from Himeno, Hayate, and Sasame so Himeno can hear the story alone. Mannen protests that they're Leafe knights too, and that they, too, have a right to know. Kei listens to this in silence, and seems to get deep in thought at Mannen's outburst.
Back in the old church where Fenrir had first transformed, Hayate begins to relate the story of Fenrir's past. They had needed the help of the Pretear back then, and Takako had been chosen. At first, as she fought, it seemed as if she were in pain because she was always afraid inside. Hayate, as a Leafe knight, understood this, and showed his appreciation to try to comfort her. Eventually, Takako's powers as a Pretear grew phenomenally, and her hesitation disappeared. The day came when the world was at peace because of Takako's efforts, and fighting was no longer necessary. It was at that point that Hayate told her he had to leave. Takako told Hayate that she wanted him - all this fighting had been because of him. But Leafe knights weren't supposed to have feelings for the Pretear, and Hayate couldn't react to her feelings anyway. Takako was heartbroken. With a bleeding heart, she went to the church where she confessed her love for Hayate, and repeated the words "I don't want it" over and over again until she transformed into what they now call the Princess of Disaster, or Fenrir. Hayate and Sasame arrived in time to see her transform, and were unable to stop her. With bright tears flowing down her cheeks, Takako become the Princess of Disaster who made it her purpose to destroy the world that denied her happiness.
Himeno listens to all of this in a state of shock. She suddenly wonders if she might go down the same dark path as Takako did. Kei appears and answers that the difference between the power of the Pretear and the Princess of Disaster is as simple as positive and negative - it can turn either way, and is solely dependent on the subject's feelings and beliefs. The other Leafe knights become upset with Kei for revealing so much, but Kei cuts them off by telling them that he has learned that the keeping of secrets among ones allies is pointless. He reminds them of the dangerous hesitation they caused in Himeno during the last fight because they didn't tell her about Takako earlier. Hayate admits that it was his fault that Takako transformed into Fenrir, and begins to leave saying that Himeno should not fight anymore - that he will fight Fenrir alone. Go gets angry and tells Hayate that this isn't a joke, and begins to go after him. Sasame grabs Go and restrains him as the knights begin to argue.
Himeno, who has been silent this whole time, suddenly jumps up and shouts "Stop!" She pushes Sasame and Go apart (rather roughly x.x;) and even knocks over a confused Kei. She tells them, as Leafe knights, to calm down, and assures them that she does not feel used. The knights are bewildered by Himeno's sudden show of leadership and strength, and are struck dumb. She thanks Hayate for telling her that story, and tells him that she now feels more apart of the team than ever. She tells him that they should continue to fight together, always. Hayate smiles and vanishes.
The next morning, Himeno begins her usual early exercises, making her usual racket in the Awayuki gardens. Mayune hears all the noise and can't sleep. She sneaks over to see Himeno practicing, and tries to have Tanaka set up super-hard rooftiles for Himeno to break (apparently these special rooftiles are also steel-plated inside with extre reinforcement) but ends up bashing her foot against it instead. The tiles go flying, and one lands on Himeno's head. Himeno, oblivious to the steel-reinforced rooftile on her head, suddenly remembers that it's time for breakfast. At the table, she eats with a ravenous appetite, and asks Mawata if she can have Mawata's leftovers. When Natsue and Kaoru come in, Himeno greets them good morning with a Japanese-ish bow, accidentally tipping the rooftile onto the dining table. The table and its contents are thrown into the air, much to Himeno's embarrassment.
Himeno slides down the stairway and tells a worried Hayate to cheer up. She then tries to race the limo that Mawata and Mayune are riding, and gives Mayune a shock when she waves from outside the limo window. While running, however, she runs into a pole and wobbles a bit, still smiling. Mawata looks back and remarks that Himeno looks like she's suffering. Meanwhile, it seems more demon larvae are assembling around the city, this time attacking without hiding themselves. The knights begin to mobilize and spread out in pairs to destroy them since they're everywhere.
Himeno walks towards the church where Takako had transformed, and begins to worry in fear of what had become of Takako. Suddenly, Sasame appears and asks Himeno if she, too, had sensed the demon larva. At that moment, a demon larva appears with Fenrir sitting atop. Fenrir laughs at Himeno and the knights, teling them that she has been waiting as Hayate appears beside Himeno and Sasame.
Elsewhere, the knights suddenly realize that the demon larvae had been sent as a distraction when they see what easy kill they are. They rush to get to Himeno's side.
Fenrir begins to talk to Himeno, asking what Hayate is like. Is he very nice to her? Or is he outright cold and distant? Because the Hayate she fell in love with was very kind, and very sweet. She begins to raise doubts in Himeno's mind, making her wonder if she really is being used as Fenrir says. Hayate tells Himeno not to listen to her lies, and Sasame shouts at Fenrir to stop it.
Himeno suddenly faces Hayate and asks him to pretear with her. They touch hands and the transformation starts, but doesn't happen. Himeno is shocked and begins to cry as Fenrir's laughter rings in the air. Fenrir tells Himeno that she has finally learned the truth - that she is really being used, and that she has no will to fight. Hayate embraces Himeno and tells her it's okay, and she doesn't have to do this anymore.
Sasame shouts at Takako to stop.

The Review

Treasure trove of information @.@;. We learn a lot about Fenrir's past and how she came to be - and from this, the question of whether Himeno and the Leafe knights are fighting on the right side is raised. Takako was a victim too.
